Exceptional

Very friendly and welcoming team! The lobby is amazing for some table games and a beer at the end of the day.

Parking is a bit narrow, but it is on site and covered, so this is complaining on a high level.

I have been here many times in the past, and thus I knew what to expect. I think it has also improved slightly since I last went. Overall, a clear and comfortable hotel.

Always a good choice

good breakfast; very friendly and supportive staff; room is OK equipped for office work - although the plug-ins are rare at the work desk; good WiFi connection; clean room all round; in general good location when looking for a stay close to EU institutions.

too few plug-ins within a reasonable distance when sitting at the desk; lower part of the cover of the showerhandle fell off; plastic cover on radio unit on the door fell off (staff came up immediately and ensured that it's not a safety issue); ventilator in shower cabin was noisy and continued operating long after one stopped having a shower.

A wonderful hotel in Brussels!

Wonderful hotel with a very big lounge and activities. The room was very big, clean and always had hot water for a bath! Also you can find complimentary coffee capsules and tea to start your day. Close to metro station! You can also have breakfast or a hot meal downstairs as there is the so called refuel corner!

It is not that much soundproof as i could hear the rooms next to me when people were talking loud and also some noise that i cannot explain when you were in the bathroom that probably came from the upper floor. Nothing special though that can ruin the experience!

Nice hotel with good facilities for guests with a walking disability

The room was booked for my parents, with my father needing a room adapted for someone with a walking disability. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was well adapted.The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The door to the bathroom was very heavy and impossible to pull open for a person with a walking disability.

Amazing hotel

Hotel was so nice, clean, staff was friendly, a lot of space in the room. City center is not far, maybe 20 minutes walk. A lot of European institutions nearby. Felt safe also walking at night and was easy to find parking for the car on the street

Wonderful

The hotel is with nice location, close to metro station and 30 minutes walking from the city center. The room was comfort, spacious and clean, the bed was perfect. The recepsionist asked us during check-in whether we would like to have everyday cleaning and they did it. The hotel offers variety of options in order to serve all customer needs. There is an oportunnity to play games in the lobby. There is an option to rent a locker and umbrella if needed. We were guests beginning of December so it was also nicely decorated for Christmas. Near the hotel thHighly recommended for 2-3 days stay

Hotel worth visiting

I’m nicely surprised by the quality this hotel offered. It was very clean, it provides everything that is needed and even more. I liked the fact there were many towels to be used. It was quiet and spacious, bed were very comfy. Once we entered the room there was a welcoming message on tv - I think it’s a very nice detail. Beds were also very comfortable, it was hard to get out of bed in the morning. I enjoyed breakfasts as well. Also I think it’s located in a good place, close to main attractions. I can recommend this place

Loved it

It was actually so satisfying staying at this hotel. The room was so big, clean, and contained everything we needed. The location was very good, with a bus station just near the hotel. The service was perfect, and there was a small kiosk (with sandwiches, snacks and drinks) and a bar in the entrance of the hotel. Which was perfect for us after a night out.... Highly recommended????????

Great sleep

I was sleeping like a child! What a great bed, cushions, blanket. The air conditioning is working silent. The ladies at the reception were very nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxing. Liked it all!

The sink was a bit cracked and the bathroom door hinges were dirty. These are tiny things, I’m more nitpicking.

One of the best hotels in Brussels!

One of the best hotels in Brussels! This was our third time in this hotel and we enjoyed the stay as much as we did for the first two times. Quite spacious room at 28 sq mtrs. Very comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and polite. Their plus point is their amenities - 24/7 snack station, a bar, superb play area and generous check out time of 12 noon (which they gladly extended by one hour :) ). Location is also quite nice, easily reachable by car, bus or trains. The big Grand Central bar next to the hotel is good as well. All in all, highly recommended.

Wonderful

Clean, spacious, very friendly staff. Location is very good if your business is around the EU Commission, otherwise it's an OK location. Breakfast is fine. Just efficient.

It was very expensive at €400/night for a mid level hotel. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

Welcoming experience within a groovy setting

Certainly the staff is the best asset of the Aloft Schumman, enthusiastic, warm and welcoming. The location is exceptional having both train a metro station close, you can go directly to anywhere. There are restaurants and supermarket walking distance. Facilities are good, we understood that the hotel is trying to reduce consumption to be environmentally friendly and consider it a good practice.

Breakfast was good but I would suggest varying cheeses and cold cuts to add more options. However, overall is very good.

Very good for a business trip

Good location, next to the EU institutions. Nicely decorated and spacious rooms with all necessary amenities. Comfortable bed and pillows.

- I found the breakfast quite poor. - I felt that some of the staff members were quite insincere. - When I checked in, the person asked in a weird way multiple times “please pay”/ “we will reserve an amount on your card, please pay”, as if I was going to run away without paying or so. It has never happened to me that a hotel already has a reservation guaranteed with my credit card and yet they want to charge/ hold an additional amount as extra guarantee. I found that attitude quite annoying and it initially ruined my mood. - Would have been good if the room had better coffee.
